We’re kinda sad that this is the last time we talk about video games on the site, but so excited to finally reach what we find the pinacle of our favorite pastime. These games are our favorite past time enchanced or best preferred to play on. Instead, we’re going to be brutally honest with our viewers on what really is the best way to experience the best games of all time. That’s why we’re not going to let corporates tell us how we should play their games. You see, there’s always going to be a better experience on each game available, whether if it’s a better port, remaster, remake, or a mod. This is the nature of gaming culture’s practices. What about classic Final Fantasy games on the Playstation having bad load times when the SNES versions didn’t have any? And it’s even more complicated when games get modded to the point where you cannot go back to the creator’s original intent. You cannot just play Ocarina of Time on the Gamecube and struggle with the C-stick when the game was made for the N64. But it’s not enough to just rank the best game when they are ported in multiple consoles and gaming platforms that makes it more complicated. On the other, it’s unfair to let older, great games be forgotten because people’s attention span and memory is terrible to depend on.
On the one hand, gaming’s technology is moving so rapidly that it makes older games outdated. You see, ranking games is impossible to make a recommendation to others.
